Since I was a child I enjoyed drawing and love for the nature and colours. Now I’m very convinced that painting is a way to communicate and express our creativity, feelings and thoughts.
My work is mostly in oil painting (my favourite media) although I like working with pastels, acrylics and watercolours and also with paper mache. I’m fascinated with the versatility and brilliance of the oil painting and in my paintings are notable the bright colours and great contrast between them. I’ve done more still life and landscapes but I’d like to do portraits and work with figurative subjects in the future. Some of my painting are characteristics for the realism and others are considered surrealism.

On high school she studied Architecture for three years and she enjoyed the use of the lines and the perspective to draw. Then she jumped to computer science at the university because she also had interest in the mathematics area and her artistic dreams were not well accepted in her family at that time.
In 2000 her family moved to
After she met Pilar Rey de Castro (an experienced and talent artist) who was her teacher in oil painting and became her mentor. They painted together for two years. Salomé felt admiration for her work and felt inspired to pursue her creative expression working with strong devotion and passion.
